     Drawing from the people who are involved in the process underlying a targeted problem, Arnie forms a team and then guides the team through a series constructive steps to a working solution. He helps them:

  • Clearly define the process problem being addressed.

  • Establish an end-goal for solving the problem.

  • Define the specific measurements that will be used to determine the success of whatever new process is devised.

  • Apply appropriate process improvement tools to redefine the process.

  • Formulate an Action Plan that includes who will do what, how it will be done, and by when.

  • Document the process by creating a set of guidelines and procedures.

Because the team members are people who are actually involved on a daily basis in the process being examined—the people who are responsible for making the process work—they end up owning the new process and are much more likely to follow it.
